Take a couple of steps from the doorway of Art-next-the-Sea Gallery and gaze down the gently sloping street to catch a slice of Wells-next-the-Sea's ancient harbour, little boats bobbing in quaint quay and rolling waves out to the horizon. Wells is a special place in North Norfolk and Art-next-the-Sea is a very special gallery. Modern light and airy it is a place to relax and take your time to enjoy inspirational paintings, sculpture, caramics and photography from local and international artists
Now under the new ownership of David Burton and Caroline Richmond who will be delighted to help and inform you should you wish to purchase a piece of work or simply browse and take in the varied selection of art on offer. At any given time over sixteen artists and craftsmen will be exhibiting and the gallery is proud to host the permanent exhibition of David Burton's HMS Victory Oak Collection - hand crafted items made with the reclaimed materials of Lord Horatio Nelson's flag ship HMS Victory.
